What's new
Saved photo translations
Your photo translations are now kept — they survive a reload and follow your account.
- Every translated photo is saved automatically (original and translated image).
- The Camera tab now opens as a gallery of your past translations, newest first, loading more as you scroll.
- Tap any result for a full-screen view; hold to compare against the original.
- Delete any one with the trash button — it's removed everywhere.
Translate photos, not just speech
Point your camera at a label, sign, or menu and get it back in your language, with the original layout kept intact.
- New Camera tab in the bottom bar.
- Snap or pick several photos at once — they translate in parallel, the moment you choose them.
- Powered by an image model through OpenRouter, so the translated text is drawn right back into the picture.
Try it on a product label — the text changes language while the design stays the same.
Clearer, faster live translation
We rebuilt the live-listening engine for lower latency and more natural narration.
- Switched the listen direction to Azure Speech, with the translated voice starting sooner.
- Replies stream as you speak and stop echoing your own voice back.
- Tighter phrase segmentation so the translation keeps pace with the speaker.
